Busy children 'are not stressed'

Concerns that a busy schedule of activities is leaving a generation of children pressurised and stressed have been challenged by a research review.

TURNING POINT BOTTLES IT


The national charity Turning Point launched a report and capmpaign last week aimed at highlighting the support needs of children with parents who excessively use alcohol. The report and campaign is called Bottling It Up. It’s focused on England & Wales only but makes for some pretty interesting reading of an underreported subject. A Scottish version of this might be a very useful addition to the debate on the relative priority placed on public investment in measures to address alcohol/illegal drug misuse. The site is pretty comprehensive and well worth a look.
